1946

Gospel Tide Hour radio program goes on the air to reach the Chambersburg, PA area.

1963

Gospel Tide Hour ministry restructured by creating a Board of Directors and formally incorporating as the Gospel Tide Broadcasting Association.

1978

Aap Ke Liye (For You) Hindi Language program initiated in India

1983

Gospel Tide partners with the BIC church in Zimbabwe to produce and air Amagugu Evangeli (Gospel Gems)

1990

Odiya language program added in India (Shanti Data – Giver of Peace)

1994

Further expansion in India with the addition of a second Hindi language program, Nav Jeevan (New Life), and programs in two more languages; Kui (Ehpa Gatanju – Savior) and Santali (Marsal Dahar – The Path of Life)

1998

Bengali language program added in India (Amart Bani – Eternal Voice)

2001

Ho language program began in India (Jiwan Roti – Bread of Life)

2004

Nepali language program added to reach Nepal (Prasasta Jiwan – Abundant Life) Radios for India project developed to provide radios in poverty stricken areas.

2008

The Tide English language radio program was discontinued to allow all resources to be focused on sharing the gospel with people groups in other regions of the world where Jesus is not widely known

2009

The Tide enters Nigeria with heart language programming in Efik (Idim Mmong Uwem – Fountain of Living Water) and Hausa (Labarun Lafia – Good News)

2010

Further expansion with the addition of a Kurukh language program in India (Ujjna Gahi Dahare – Path of Life), and two more heart language programs in Nigeria; Igbo (Eti Mbuk – Good News) and Yoruba (Oku Chineke – Word of God)

2011

Ijaw language program (Ta Mu Nu – God’s Word) added in Nigeria

2012

Dzongkha language program (Lamtheam – Show the True Way) initiated in Bhutan. Programs in Annang (Iko Awasi – The Word of God) and Ibibio (Se Obong Oyomde – The Word of God) added in Nigeria

2013

Tharu language program (Anmol Jingdi – Precious Life) added in Nepal, and Tiv language program added in Nigeria (Bibiro – Bible Truth)

2014

Nupe language program added in Nigeria (Ganma – Good News)

2015

Gospel Tide enters Albania and Kosovo with Albanian language radio program (Sipas Fjales – According to the Word) and adds two new heart language programs in Nigeria; Agwagune (Orok Osughuren – God’s Word is Truth) and Amo (Dandana Zazzim – Praise Time)

2016

Telugu language radio program added in India. Recording in process for Isaan language radio program in Thailand.

2020

Diamond Vision with goals to strengthen existing partnerships and expand into new regions

2023

The Tide expands its radio ministry to Cameroon and North Macedonia.
